Provider review
Mochi Health tirzepatide review
What Mochi Health charges, what is included, who prescribes, which pharmacy fills it, where it operates — and how much of that we confirmed ourselves rather than took from the website.
This is an independent assessment of Mochi Health's tirzepatide program against our published 100-point rubric. It separates what the provider states from what we verified. No pricing, scoring or state data has been captured yet, so nothing below is presented as a finding. Verification status appears beside every field.
What is distinctive about this programme
Read the total, not the medication line
Mochi's advertised medication prices — $99 semaglutide and $199 tirzepatide — are among the lowest anywhere. The required $79 monthly membership makes the actual totals $178 and $278, which places the programme mid-table rather than at the top.
This is the clearest example in our dataset of why we publish totals. A comparison ranking on the medication column alone would place Mochi first for semaglutide; on the total it sits eighth.
What the membership buys
Unlimited physician and dietitian access is a substantive inclusion rather than a platform fee. At $948 a year it is not cheap, but a patient who will actually use clinical and dietetic support is buying something real, and several cheaper all-inclusive competitors provide less contact.
The $39 first-month membership rate is an introductory price that rises to $79. We exclude introductory rates from every ranking on this site, because they apply to one month of an indefinite treatment.
Flat across doses
Price is reported as the same at all doses, which removes escalation risk. Commitment tiers are reported to reduce the membership component.

Where it holds up
- Same price at all doses, removing escalation risk
- Membership includes unlimited physician and dietitian access, not just platform access
- Commitment tiers reduce the membership component
- Medication pricing is genuinely low before the membership
Where it does not
- Membership is required, and it roughly doubles the semaglutide medication price
- The $39 first-month membership is introductory and rises to $79
- Total cost places the programme mid-table despite a market-leading medication price
- Figures are third-party reported and not yet captured by us

Pricing, all-in
Plan total and monthly equivalent are calculated by us from the provider's published figures, using the same formula applied to every provider on this site. A price is only a price once the required fees are inside it.

Where it operates
State availability is verified against the provider's own checkout or a support confirmation, state by state, with a capture date. A provider serving forty states is not nationwide, and we do not describe it that way.

Clinical model
- Who prescribes: employed clinicians, a contracted medical group, or a partner network. Name the entity.
- Whether an initial synchronous visit occurs, and whether the state requires one.
- Follow-up cadence, escalation route and adverse-event handling.
- Continuity: what happens to a patient when their prescriber leaves the platform.
Pharmacy and fulfilment
- Named fulfilling pharmacy or outsourcing facility, and its registration class (503A or 503B).
- Verify any accreditation claim directly with the accrediting body, not with the provider.
- Testing disclosures: what is tested, by whom, and whether a certificate is available to patients.
- Cold-chain handling and what happens to a shipment that arrives warm.
Billing, cancellation and support
- Auto-renew behaviour and the exact cancellation route, captured as a screenshot.
- Refund terms for unopened, undelivered and unused medication.
- Published support channels and any stated response time — then test it.

How this compares to the category
Once enough providers are scored, this section reports where Mochi Health sits against the median for each rubric category, not against a hand-picked competitor.
Questions readers actually ask
Is Mochi Health the cheapest option?
We will not answer that until the all-in figures are captured for the whole comparison set. A cheapest claim needs a defined comparison group, a stated program type and a capture date, or it is just an adjective.
Is this review sponsored?
No. No provider pays for coverage, placement, a score or a link, and providers do not see a review before it publishes.
Is compounded tirzepatide the same as Zepbound?
No. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products and there is no generic tirzepatide. Approval of the brand product does not extend to a compounded preparation.
